Resolved -
At 08:30 AM, the API service became unresponsive due to a failure to connect to the database cluster. The issue was caused by the database replica storage reaching full capacity.
The incident was resolved at 10:58 AM by expanding the database replica storage capacity. In addition, CloudWatch alerts were re-configured to provide proactive notifications in case disk utilization approaches full capacity.
All services were fully restored and verified to be operational after recovery.
