At 07:11 AM, the API service became unresponsive due to a failure to connect to MongoDB. The issue was caused by the database storage reaching full capacity, which prevented new connections and disrupted API operations that depended on database access.

The incident was resolved at 08:42 AM by expanding the storage capacity and removing unnecessary data. In addition, CloudWatch alerts were re-configured to provide proactive notifications in case disk utilization approaches full capacity.

All services were fully restored and verified to be operational after recovery.
